About Me
My name is Ryan and I have been creating the highest quality showreels for actors for the past 10 years.
I am an actor turned showreel specialist who knows exactly what casting directors are looking for, having trained at one of the UK’s leading drama schools and been working in the industry for many years.
I combine Netflix approved cameras, high-end audio and lighting setups and real industry insight to create showreels that don’t just look great, but get you noticed in an industry that is more competitive than ever.
Whether you’re just starting out or levelling up, I make the process relaxed, collaborative and dare I say it… even a bit fun, all while delivering sharp, cinematic results that showcase you at your absolute best.
Get in touch, let me know where you’re at in your career and let’s make something special.
I can’t wait to work with you!
FAQ
-
Once the package and date has been decided I will send you a confirmation email that will have a detailed breakdown of everything you have booked and how the day will run. This will also have payment details for making the £100 non-refundable deposit. I can not cement the date without this.
-
I prefer bank transfer for both the deposit and full payment. However I can accept cash and credit card. Just let me know.
-
Once the edit is complete I will send you your showreel to be downloaded. Please keep it safe and back it up! I tend to keep files for around two months before they are deleted, but I can’t guarantee that.
-
If you already have your showreel footage and just need it put together to make a standout, punchy showreel, then yes I can do that for you! I charge £85 for a showreel edit.
-
I love showing off the wonderful work that we do here. If you’re happy for me to do that, I’d love to!
-
Absolutely you should! I promise you won’t regret it. See you soon.
-
We absolutely can do that for you! I would strongly suggest using our in house writing team. We have years of experience of writing showreels and know exactly what works and what doesn’t. You are welcome to write your own, but your showreel is only as strong as the scripts, so give yourself the best chance of making the most of it!

This is probably the sentence I have heard most over the past 10 years. Simple answer - no. That isn’t even necessarily to do with our pricing, it’s more to do with what is actually useful. Don’t get hung on on context of the scene, or backstory. To put it bluntly, no one cares. Casting directors want to see the most important part immediately. Show them a shift in emotion, however subtle that may be, that’s all they want.
-
You are welcome to film a monologue as one of your scenes, but I would suggest having yourself and one other actor in each scene. Duologues are always best. I would also try and get a different actor per scene. Using the same one looks cheap and makes it clear that this was a showreel session.
-
This depends. I do have access to period drama locations however this falls under a different price point. Let me know if you want a period scene and we can discuss. Period scenes are not included in the standard showreel packages.
-
I guarantee to have the final showreel edit to you within 14 days. If you need it sooner then let me know. I offer express 24 hour editing for £35 per scene.

Nope.

I am based in Norwich, UK. However I travel all over the UK for certain film projects. For showreels I mainly film in Norwich, London, Cambridge and Essex.

Creating a showreel that is tailor made for you, showing off exactly what you want to in the way you want to do it will benefit you much more than piecing together short clips of you from various short films. That’s if you even get the footage back!
-
Once I have received your booking form, I will get back to you within 24 hours. I will introduce myself, offer a free video consultation and find out exactly what it is we want to achieve with your reel. We will discuss casting type, script choices and the goals you want to achieve by getting this showreel. I will offer my expertise and we will also discuss locations and additional extras such as personalised scripts and supplied actors.

There’s not an exact time as each scene is different. The location and weather can also play a part in this. I have been working in film for 10+ years, so I know what I’m doing. Most 1 minute scenes take around 45 minutes to film.
-
Most people decide to opt for three scenes. If that is the case, we arrive at the location at 10:30am. We then work our way through each scene, taking some time between for a cuppa and a chat before we crack on with the next one. Usually, we are wrapped at around 3pm.

We have access to a number of stunning, domestic houses in north East London &Norwich that we hire regularly. I would strongly recommend doing this as it not only takes the stress off of you, but it also means we are working somewhere that we know has great natural light, controlled background noise and various rooms to use for multiple scenes. Our hired locations are £120 for the filming day.
